Junior Fishing

Our Junior Fishing Section is run by Mark Norfolk and Jess Herbert, along with our Junior Advocate, Willow.

Mark, Jess & Willow have an army of willing LRSAC members to help during Junior Sessions; all of whom have current DBS checks. The Juniors are a hardy lot who fish in all weathers (as long as it's safe to do so!) Fishing with LRSAC Juniors is a great way to learn new skills, get out in nature and meet some new friends.

Our Junior Squad is split into two groups, allowing our more advanced young anglers to improve their skills fishing from the beaches and using more advanced tactics, while allowing our juniors who need a little more help, the space and time to get to grips with the basics. 

For all fixtures fished by the Juniors The Tackle Box provides bait, free of charge, for all juniors fishing. Just pop in the shop before the match! 

LRSAC want to encourage the next generation of anglers, with that in mind we have a box available of rigs, floats and lures to use so that your young angler can have a go at lots of different types of fishing. 

We also have rods and reels available to use for any young angler just getting started. 

Our sessions usually include an added extra, whether it's Marshmallow toasting, a visit to the aquarium or a litter pick on the beach, there's always something going on! 

We're so grateful to Lyme Regis Town Council who have very kindly provided Hoodies & T-Shirts for our Juniors this year. Everyone feels like part of an amazing fishing community.
